PURPOSE:To provide a pneumatic tire whose a territory pinched by a pair of sipes in a clock is prevented to project following to progress of wear and whose running performance on ice is not deteriorated. CONSTITUTION:A pair of sipes 14 are formed in a block 12 so as to divide the block 12 into three sections. Ratio between a dimension H2 from the bottom part 14A of the sipe 14 to the tread 16A of a narrow width territory 16 and a dimension H1 from the bottom part 14A of the sipe 14 to the tread 18A of a wide territory 18 is set as 0.55<= H2/H1 <1. Because the distance of the tread 16A of the narrow width territory 16 from the rotation center of the tire becomes short, slip is generated between the tread 16A and the road surface, and the wear quantity of the narrow width territory 16 becomes larger than that of the wide territory 18 when the pneumatic tire makes rotation. Hereby, it is restrained that the narrow width territory 16 is projected outside the wide territory 18 in the radial direction of the tire, and edge effect due to the sipes 14 can be maintained until the last stage of wear. |
