PURPOSE:To obtain a thermal transfer material imparting various chemical and mechanical characteristics such as plasticizer resistance, scratch resistance, abrasion resistance or solvent resistance to the image transferred to a plastic material dyed with sublimable dye and preventing the discoloration and fading of the image due to light such as ultraviolet rays. CONSTITUTION:A thermal transfer material is obtained by successively laminating a release layer 12, a sublimable dye diffusion preventing layer 13 and an adhesive layer 14 consisting of an ultraviolet absorber, a cutting preventing agent and a thermoplastic resin with a glass transition point of 45-110 deg.C on a heat-resistant support 11 having a sticking preventing layer 10 provided to the rear thereof. |
