PURPOSE:To cool a mainframe effectively during controlling stains of a filter by a method wherein a means which controls a driving means so as to make a cooling fan perform exhausting operation for specific time just after making, at least, a power source in electronic equipment, is arranged. CONSTITUTION:For a central processing unit 16 of a printer controller 15, when a signal line P connected to its output port 17 is kept at a high level (5V), a fan motor 2 forwards with a motor driver IC 3, and a cooling fan 1 functions as a suction fan. Then, when the signal line P is kept at a low level, the fan motor 2 reverses, and the cooling fan 1 functions as an exhaust fan. By making the cooling fan 1 perform exhaust operation just after making a power source, dust or the like contained in the open air which was accumulated in a filter in suction operation when used before that time can be exhausted outside a case body. Then decrease of a quantity of air by stains of the filter can be restrained. |
