PURPOSE:To obtain a thermosensitive recording material with improved properties such as texture fog proofness, image preservability and coloring initiation temperature by providing leuco dye, a developer and a recording layer expressed by specific formula. CONSTITUTION:Each specified amount of leuco dye, a developer and a durene derivative expressed by formula I (X is an alkyl group, a cycloalkyl group, and an aralkyl group and an aryl group, both having the possibilities of containing a substituted group), and -COR (an alkyl group and an aryl group which may have a substituted group), is mixed and crushed separately with an aqueous solution of water-soluble polymer such as polyvinyl alcohol as a binder using a crusher such as a sand grinder. Further, each ingredient is blended to prepare an application liquid for recording layer. The specified amount of this application liquid is applied to the surface of a support such as synthetic paper or plastic film, and the coat is dried to obtain a laminated recording layer for a thermosensitive recording material. It is possible to add calcium carbonate for improving the peel-off properties from a thermal head to the recording layer. |
