PURPOSE:To certainly read the bar code applied to a printing plate without positioning the printing plate in a feed process. CONSTITUTION:In a printing plate treatment apparatus having a feed device feeding a printing plate 1 to which printing plate treatment data is applied as a bar code 2 and a bar code reader 1 reading the bar code 2 applied to the printing plate 1, a detector 22 detecting the printing plate 1 fed by the feed device 11, a moving device 23 moving the bar code reader 21 in the direction crossing the feed direction of the printing plate 1 at an almost right angle and a control unit operating the moving device 23 on the basis of the printing plate detection result of the detector 22 are provided. |
