PURPOSE:To make means for supply to a recording position of a recording part applicable to all kinds of recording paper, and to make the structure of the title apparatus compact by a method wherein ports for supplying the recording paper to the recording part are provided on two or more locations. CONSTITUTION:As an operator inserts recording paper 401 through a recording paper supply port 123 provided on the front part of the title apparatus, the recording paper 401 is conveyed to a guide 309 through a lower case 322 of the apparatus and a recording paper supply passage 305 constituting a driver for a controller of the apparatus, a printer and a display unit 104, and is inserted up to a conveying roller 510 of the printer 106. On the other hand, a second paper supply port 124 is provided to a location near the printer 106 on the underside of the apparatus main body. The recording paper in the length shorter than the distance from the paper supply port 123 to the printer 106 or thick and unbending recording media such as envelopes and postcards are not suitable for feeding through a curved passage starting at the supply port 123. Therefore, the supply port 124 is provided for such recording media to the underside of the apparatus main body on a location on a line approximately straight from the recording paper supply passage for the printer 106. |
