PURPOSE:To treat a large quantity of gas and to perform continuous operation in a gas separation method where a particulate adsorbent flows and is circulated through an adsorption system and a desorption system by desorbing components adsorbed on the particulate adsorbent from it. CONSTITUTION:In a system through which a particulate adsorbent flows and is circulated, gas consisting of two or more components is introduced into an adsorbing part to preferentially adsorb components to be separated and recovered and is desorbed at a desorbing part of lower pressure and higher temp. than the adsorbing part. The adsorbent is transferred from the low pressure part P2 to the high part P1 and reused. At this time, a large quantity of gas is treated so that the quantity of adsorbed gas by difference in pressure and temp. between adsorption and desorption may be used to the utmost.
