PURPOSE:To perform coloration for imparting a color image excellent in storage stability, by developing a color by mutual contact reaction of a plurlity of specific compounds supported by an object to be colored under heating. CONSTITUTION:A compound represented by the formula I [wherein A is O, NH or (OR1)2 (wherein R1 is lower alkyl) or the formula II (wherein R2 a lower alkylene, Z is an aromatic compound residue or a heterocyclic compound residue capable of forming a conjugate system with C=NH) (e.g., 3-iminoisoindoline-1- one) and a compound represented by the formula III (where R is an aromatic compound residue or a heterocyclic compound residue which may have a substituent and m is 1 or more) are supported by an object to be colored and subjected to mutual contact color forming reaction for example, by a heat energy imparting method to color the object to be colored. |
