PURPOSE:To obtain a tangle food having excellent shape-retainability and reconstitutible rapidly with hot water, by pressing a lump of tangle flake with the pressure of a fluid or powder interposing a flexible and impermeable film between the flake and the pressure medium. CONSTITUTION:A definite amount of tangle flake is pressed with a fluid or fluid powder interposing a flexible and impermeable film such as cellophane bag between the flake and the pressure medium. For example, a bag filled with tangle flake is deaerated, sealed and left under atmospheric pressure or in a pressurized atmosphere to apply the external pressure to the content through the bag. |
