<p>Presensitized lithographic printing plate is prepd. by electrolytically anodising an Al or Al alloy support film using an aqs. soln. of H3PO4 as electrolyte, and coating the anodised surface with a photosensitive mixt. of a novolak resin and a diazo salt. The anodising gives printing plates with a very good resistance to wear during printing. Several thousand high quality copies can be produced with the plates. Pref. the diazo salt is a cpd. of formula I: (where R and R1 are each pref. methyl, ethyl, phenyl, benzyl, or ethoxy; or R and R1 form a morpholino group with the N atom of the amine group; and X is an acid group).</p> |
