PURPOSE:To provide a seat belt pretensioner which performs locking and retracting operation of a seat belt before collision of a vehicle when a distance between cars is decreased, improves property to constrain a body, and ensures safety. CONSTITUTION:In a retractor 3 comprising a seat belt winding device 7 and a seat belt retracting locking device 8 to retract the seat belt and lock it, an actuator 12 to operate the seat belt retracting locking device 8 is operated by means of a detected signal from an intercar distance sensor at a point of time when a distance between cars is decreased. |
