The invention relates to a device by means of which papers and the like can be propped up on an inclined surface as a means of displaying them to the user and to a public. It consists in principle of an assembly of sheets of a rigid material (1) + (4) + (6) (and optionally (24)), covered with a sheet of PVC (7) and (8) for fixing and/or displaying the papers. These can be folded like a document wallet and unfolded about the folds (3) and (5) to bring (6) into position in one of the folds (2) to form a stand or lectern, combined with the use of a document wallet or blotter on the (24) option about the fold 12... The device according to the invention comprises different modes, particularly a file that converts into a stand. It is intended for the industrial production of files/stands. <IMAGE>
