PURPOSE:To provide a manufacture of a ceramic base which can control variation of the firing shrinkage ratio, which is especially an important property, among lots as lower than 0.5% as possible by contriving uniforming of properties of the ceramic base. CONSTITUTION:Ceramic base raw materials of at least two kinds whose grain sizes are different from each other are mixed up with each other, wet dispersion of them is performed, slurry after the dispersion is molded into a sheetlike state, a firing shrinkage ratio of a molded sheet is confirmed in advance by making use of a press mold for a test, a kind and compounding ratio of base raw materials are selected according to the results of the obtained shrinkage ratio, the base raw materials of at least two kinds are mixed up with each other again based on its kind and compounding ratio and the wet dispersion of them is to performed, after performance of molding of a sheet and confirmation of the preceding shrinkage ratio in order, a sheet is press-processed and the press-processed sheet is fired. |
