PURPOSE:To provide a beverage extracting device which can extract, without mistake and at any time when necessary, fragrant and tasty coffee and tea water like black tea. CONSTITUTION:This device is provided with an extractor 1a, a water boiling tank 2, a hot water outlet 5 discharging the hot water in the tank 2 to the extractor 1a, a hot water valve 14 to open and close the hot water outlet 5, a tea extracting vessel 21 and a coffee extracting vessel which can selectively be arranged at the extractor 1a, and a detecting switch 34 judging which of the tea extracting vessel 21 or the coffee extracting vessel is arranged against the extractor 1a and further, a microcomputer 51 which makes the hot water valve 14 open so that the hot water outlet 5 is continuously opened in accordance with the signal of the detecting switch 34 when the tea extracting vessel 21 is arranged in the extractor 1a and also makes the hot water valve 14 open and close so that the hot water outlet 5 is repeatedly open and close in turn in accordance with the signal of the detecting switch 34 when the coffee extracting vessel is placed at the extractor 1a. |
