<p>PURPOSE:To surely and easily set recording paper by providing a recording paper receiving part operating mechanism for feeding a recording paper receiving part from the inside to the outside or from the outside to the inside, of a device, and an electric switch for actuating this mechanism. CONSTITUTION:Recording paper 2 is set together with a recording paper receiving part 3 into an electrophotographic printer 1, and a recording paper receiving part operating switch 9 of an upper part operating panel 8 is operated to actuate a drive part 6 by a drive control part 7. A pinion 5 meshed with a rack 4 on a side surface of the recording paper receiving part 3 is provided in a terminal end of the drive part 6, to move the recording paper receiving part 3. When the recording paper receiving part 3 is moved to press a switch 11, the drive part 6 is stopped through the drive control part 7 to stop operation of the recording paper receiving part 3. In the case of actuating the recording paper receiving part 3 from the inside to the outside of the printer 1, by reoperating the switch 9, reverse action to the above-mentioned is performed to feed the recording paper receiving part 3 to the outside to a position where recording paper can be replaced.</p> |
