<p>PURPOSE:To improve controllability to a major diameter of a hollow and to prevent a disk shoe from seizing in a skew rolling mill in which the disk shoe is used. CONSTITUTION:In the method for rolling a seamless tube by the skew rolling mill in which upper and lower disk shoes 2A, 2B are used, the caliber shape of each of the upper and lower disk shoes is measured on line, the set position to the mill center of each of the upper and lower disk shoes 2A, 2B is controlled independently at each shoe by a correcting amount to a wear part of the disk diameter of each of the upper and lower disk shoes.</p> |
