PURPOSE:To obtain the subject structure having wash and wear (W & W) properties rich in washing durability without deteriorating the strength by applying a specific compound to cellulosic fiber. CONSTITUTION:(A) A curable monomer or prepolymer of an acrylate or a methacrylate expressed by the formula [R1 and R2 are H or CH3; n is l-50; R3 is H, CH2(OH)HCH2OCOR(R1)=CH2, 1-17C alkyl, 1-17C alkyl group- substituted or unsubstituted phenyl, 1-17C alkyl group-substituted or unsubstituted naphthyl] [preferred example; diethylene glycol monoglycidyl (meth)acrylate] and (B) a resin finishing material for cellulose, e.g. dimethylolurea are applied to a cellulosic fiber-containing textile structure, which is then subjected to steaming treatment or irradiation treatment with electron beams before or after heat treatment. Thereby, the polymerized and cured reactional products of the components (A) and (B) are present in the interior or/and the surface of the cellulosic fiber. As a result, the objective cellulosic fiber-containing textile structure, excellent in dry and wet shrinkproof properties and having W & W properties good in washing durability is obtained. |
