PURPOSE:To mold a saggar of a material which has controlled its water contents low and is inferior in fluidity, by a method wherein a bottom force of a molding tool is split into molds corresponding respectively to a mounting surface and side wall part of the saggar, they are made raisable separately, the mold corresponding to the mounting surface is raised, after filling of a material to a state flush with the top of an outer mold frame, pressing is performed by lowering the mold. CONSTITUTION:In case of molding of a saggar A for firing of a plane tile having an H-shaped section, a bottom force 3 of a molding tool is separated into a bottom inner force 4 corresponding to a mounting surface of the saggar A and a bottom outer force corresponding to a side wall part 2 and they are constituted so that they are elevatable separately. Then, a material box whose bottom is opened is provided slidably on an upper plane of an outer mold frame. Then, only the bottom inner force 4 in a fixed position is raised, the material box is slid, a material 6 within the box is but into the mold so that the material 6 becomes flush with the top of an outer mold frame 7. Then the bottom inner force 4 is restored to a fixed position while lowering the top force and pressing is performed. With this construction, even if a material which has controlled its water contents low and is inferior in fluidity is used, the saggar the whole of which is made into uniform density can be obtained. |
