A method for obtaining a radio-frequency detection or identification label which combines a relatively large detection distance and an absolute minimum of components. Only an antenna coil (1) (with an optionally ferromagnetic core (10)) and a chip (11) provided with an IC are needed. The antenna coil consists of insulated winding wire which is connected directly to the chip without the intermediacy of a substrate or a lead frame.
