The absorbent insert has side flaps (5) on both sides of the absorbent pad (1), together with bonding points (14,16) for adhesion when the flaps (5) are folded round the crotch of under pants. At least one side flap (5) has a perforation line (18) along the line of the absorbent pad (1). When the flaps (5) are folded over, under the pants crotch, the bonding points (14,16) overlap for the flaps (5) to be secured to each other. At least one flap (5) has a bonding point (16) for adhesion to the pants fabric. The side of the absorbent pad (1) towards the under pants has an adhesive (14) for additional bonding to the crotch of the pants. The perforation line (18) is parallel to the longitudinal axis of the absorbent pad (1), and as close as possible to the bonding point (16) of its flap (5), and outside the section of the flap (5) structured to contain any fluid. USE/ADVANTAGE - The liner can be inserted into under pants for use as a sanitary towel or by the incontinent, to contain fluids without dispersion or leakage. The liner can be detached easily for disposal.
