The pressure medium driven rotary drive has a housing with a pressure-tight pressure chamber. It contains a centrally arranged rotor with a rotary vane running along the wall of the pressure chamber. The rotor (3) is formed as a hollow cylindrical body and the shaft (2) is introduced in an axially eccentric manner through the rotor. The rotor and shaft have interacting drive elements (4,8) enabling the transmitted rotary movement of the rotor on the shaft to be increased or reduced. USE/ADVANTAGE - Pneumatic rotary drive in which action angle of shaft is greater than action angle of rotor.
