<p>The information is recorded in the form of alterations of variable lengths (10, 10 + NΔ1), for example in the form of localized ablations of a thermosensitive layer of the medium. This type of information coding is sensitive to imprecisions of the form factor due to the non linearity inherent to the recording method used. The method according to the invention comprises the recording, from location to location, of marks (M1, M2) used as length references. Said marks (M1, M2) are recorded at the same time and in the same conditions as the information itself (d1, d2, d3). During the reading process, the marks act as length references for the associated information zone and, after conversion into electric signals, as time reference.</p> |
