The X-ray tube (2) casing (2) and the holder (11) form part of the X-ray radiator (1). The holder engages on, or in the axes of the central radiator (1), and is constructed such that the temp-dependent expansion takes place always in the direction of the central radiator. Pref. the holder engages the X-ray tube in the region of a beam outlet window (8). The holder may have an aperture (13) for the beam passage, associated with the X-ray tube beam outlet window. ADVANTAGE - Smallest possible deviation of actual and rated alignment of central radiator in operation.
