<p>The invention relates to a security device for a carrying device (1) such as a supermarket trolley. The security device (1) comprises one or more arms (2, 3), a pouch (4) for engagement with said one or more arms (2, 3), and a closure means (5) for closing the pouch (4), the arrangement and construction being such that upon closure and inversion of the pouch (4), valuables placed within the pouch (4) are secured against opportunist theft. A method of securing valuables with respect to a carrying device such as a supermarket trolley, utilising the security device (1) is also described.</p> |
