<p>A method and fixture for mounting external cladding in the form of single sheets on, for example, the walls of buildings. The fixture comprises two main segments, a fixing bracket (1) designed to be fixed to the wall and a horizontal positioning plate (2A) designed to support the external cladding sheet, and also guides (20) which hold the facing sheet in place, said fixture being horizontally and vertically adjustable. The positioning plate (2A) and the fixing bracket (1), have substantially horizontal supporting surfaces which are adjacent to one another and are horizontally adjustable in all directions relative to one another, said plate being locked definitively to the fixing bracket (1) by means of screw connections or welding after it has been adjusted in relation to the bracket.</p> |
