<p>A kit for the conversion of a conventional or reversible plough assembly to the use of square mouldboards (11), which comprises a plurality of legs (9) adapted to be secured to a beam (20) of a conventional or reversible plough assembly, and a plurality of frog attachments each adapted to be secured to a leg, each frog attachment having means for mounting a square mouldboard (11) thereon, or having a square mouldboard (11) integral therewith, the arrangement being such that when each frog attachment is secured to a leg (9) and the leg (9) is secured to the beam (20), the central horizontal axis of the mouldboard is arranged at a functional ploughing angle. The conversion kit may comprise two sets of frog attachments which are mirror images of each other, such that a right-hand turning row and a left-hand turning row of mouldboards can be assembled on the beam (20) of the plough.</p> |
