The tensioner is fitted with an edge strip on guide rails and is held by the spring effect of a draw mechanism(20). The latter is fitted in the hollow edge strip (14) via links (46). The hollow edge strip contains springs, anchors (32), and a movable guide.The draw mechanism at both ends of the edge strip is guided by two lateral guide rails and is wound with its two ends on two winding rollers. An adjuster (40) for the longitudinally movable anchor in the edge strip comprises a gear operable from outside the edge strip.
