Cigarette-paper with filter tip - contains additional filter plug slid axially on filling with tobacco

The paper with tip is for use by smokers forming their own cigarettes. It has a first filter plug (4) glued inside it at the mouth end and enclosed at this end by a wrapping sheet (8). The paper sleeve (2) contains one or more further filter plugs (10), whose diameter is such that they fit closely against its inside surface. They are slid in the axial direction by light pressure when filling the sleeve with tobacco. The additional plug can be contained in the other end of the sleeve, or at 2 to 15 mm. from the first one, and the sleeve can have an annular internal rib at 2 to 15 mm from the first plug, and which is expanded by the sliding second one. USE/ADVANTAGE - Cigarette paper is able to form ventilated cigarette, and protects open end of sleeve furthest from filter tip from distortion.
