A MAST CENTERING DEVICE FOR A LIFT TRUCK

The object of the invention is a mast (1) centering device for a lift truck, in which the mast tilts around a joint axle (14). The device includes an operating switch (7) for the device, a 3-way direction valve (6) operating a hydraulic cylinder that tilts the mast, limit switches (5) and a counterpiece (10) installed between the mast and the frame of the track. The limit switches (5) are adjusted to sense the deviation of the mast (1) from the central position by means of the movement of the counterpiece (10) and to control the direction valve (6) is such a way that it directs the hydraulic cylinder to correct the position of the mast (1). The limit switches consist of two opposed contactless sensors (5.1, 5.2), which are placed on both sides of the counterpiece (10), this being most advantageously located in the direction of the joint axle (14), at a distance of at least 30 cm from it.
