A detector for radioactive paper- or thin-film-chromatograms has a flat table in which permanent magnets are inserted. The chromatogram is fixed by two steel strips, laid along its sides, which are attracted by the magnets. The scanner is moved longitudinally by a feedscrew and transversely on two crossbars.
