The guide device uses a pair of telescopic rails (TS) cooperating with the sides of the component module which have two guide elements (FE1, FE2) engaging the top and bottom surfaces (S1, S2) of the telescopic rail and a guide rail (FS). The top surface of the telescopic rail has a hook (HK) cooperating with the upper guide element (FE1) in the retracted position of the component module with a corresponding notch (AN) in the bottom surface allowing the module to drop down until the lower guide element (FE2) abuts the adjacent section of the bottom surface of the telescopic rail. The guide rail (FS) rests against the top surface (Sn) of the hook when the component module is pushed inwards. ADVANTAGE - Guide device uses min. number of components for low-cost mfr. and easy handling.
