A wiper apparatus in which the wiper blade is not reversed. The wiper apparatus (1) comprises: a slide bar (4) having a wiper blade (6) integrally formed thereon; a housing (3) for supporting the slide bar movably in its longitudinal direction such that each travel end portion side thereof is set as a wiping position of the wiper blade; a wiper motor (2) for unidirectionally rotating the housing (3); and an actuating motor (7) for moving the slide bar longitudinally to bring the wiper blade to the above described wiping position.
