The manufactured steel products can be used for operation in conditions of intensive wear and in corrosive environments. The composition provides high rates of saturation and enables obtaining a homogenous 1-phase (Fe2B) boride layer at reduced consumption of amorphous boron. It contains, in weight percent: 6-25 amorphous boron, 2-6 Na2O.4BF3 with Al2O3 making up the balance.
