Conveying and pressing finely-divided materials - with screw and nozzle for compaction and dewatering

Finely-divided materials from prodn. prepn. and residue processing are conveyed by means of a screw (1) and pressed by counter-pressure from a multi-part outlet nozzle (2,3,4) which ejects the pressed material in an axial direction. Expressed water is drained by means of a perforated plate (5) into a water trough. ADVANTAGE - Dewaters material for further processing or disposal.
