The semiconductor device including a semiconductor device unit having an input circuit section, a logical operation circuit section and an output circuit section, and an abnormal state detection display unit connected to the semiconductor device unit and packaged therewith includes an additional logic operation circuit section for logically operating an electrical signal from the semiconductor device unit, a comparison circuit section respectively connected to the additional logic operation circuit section and the output circuit section for comparing signals from both sections, a driving section for generating a display driving signal in accordance with the signal from the comparison circuit section, and a display section for displaying the abnormal state of the semiconductor device unit in accordance with the driving signal from the driving section, thereby reducing maintenance time of the system using a hundreds of packages, and simply repairing a troubled section even by a user without professional knowledge about the system. |
