PURPOSE:To obtain an electronic stringed instrument capable of variously changing the delay time of a generated musical sound in accordance with playing operation. CONSTITUTION:A signal a1 is turned to a waveform signal b1 through an amplifier 11 and an LPF 12 and the signal b1 is applied to a pitch extraction part 13 and a level detection part 14. The pitch extraction part 13 applies interruption signals INTa, INTb to a CPU 15 at the zero crossing point of the signal b1, and at the time of detecting a peak point, applies signals Max, Min to the level detection part 14 to apply a peak value obtained by the A/D conversion of the signal b1. The CPU 15 weights a delay time the signal b1 supplied from the detection part 14 in accordance with delay characteristic information set up by a delay characteristic setting part 16 to generate a musical sound signal from an A-channel PCM sound source part 17. After the lapse of the delay time, a musical sound signal is generated from a B-channel PCM sound source part 18. The musical sound signals for both the channels A, B are applied to a speaker 23 through an adder 19, a latch 20, a D A converter 21, and an amplifier 22 to sound a musical sound. |
