Plastic upholstery cushion, esp. for furniture, on which individual coil springs are moulded into hollow tubes, in the form of single or double cones, joined at their widest parts and covered by integrally moulded reinforcements at one or both ends so that the wire coil springs are held upright. An integral moulding of an elastomer esp. foamed polyurethane is used. The cushions are comfortable and long wearing, and do not damage the outer decorative upholstery fabrics. |
