a) Automatic gain control in a radio frequency receiver including a time-based equaliser circuit. b) The feedback signals to be used for controlling the portion forming a variable-gain amplifier of a radio receiver are obtained from the signals for the existing automatic-gain control, including a part of a section forming a time-based equaliser of a receiver, in such a way that it is possible to eliminate from the overall diagram the circuit for filtering on a bandpass filter and for detecting the feedback signal. The resulting apparatus supplies a constant level to the input of the built-in analog-digital converter and the loop which results therefrom adapts to the changes in the radio frequency/baseband bandwidth. c) The invention particularly relates to the automatic gain control circuit used in connection with a radio receiver using quadrature-amplitude modulation, including a time-based equalisation. <IMAGE> |
