A front jaw for a binding system for ski boots is equipped with a seating plate (2a) with a housing (2b) rocking upwards, with two bent levers and a blocking system for the sole; a longitudinal bore of the housing includes a sleeve (bush) (4) traversed by a traction rod (6) and receiving a triggering spring; in the seating plate is mounted an intermediate lever (11), actuated by a pedal (9), on which is articulated a bolt arranged in a vertical recess of the housing, the hook (13a) of which traps a bearing piece of the housing. In order to free the boot additionally at the time of a purely rearward fall, the bolt is under the influence of the spring with branches (14) which compresses the hook in the blocking position, the recess (2g) of the housing is of a width greater than the length of the hook and the sleeve (4) has an axial rear projection (4b). <IMAGE> |
