<p>PURPOSE:To surely transfer both long and short data without spoiling the profitability in a transfer data length converting system in a data exchanging system having plural data exchanges interconnected by a long data line and a short data line. CONSTITUTION:A transmission side exchange 1A is provided with a line state monitoring means 200 monitoring the utility of a long line 3 and a short line 4, a transmission data dividing means 300 dividing long data into partial data when the long line is not available and the short line is available and sending the data through the short line, and a transmission data coupling means 500 coupling plural short data into combined data and sending the data through the long line when the long line is available and the short line is not available. Then, a reception side exchange 1B is provided with a reception data coupling means 400 decoding each of the partial data sent through the short line into long data, and a reception data dividing means 600 dividing the combined data sent through the long line to decode plural short data.</p> |
