PURPOSE:To limit an accident current even when a circuit reclosing is failed so that the accident current flows by supplying a current at a low impedance at the time of succeeding the circuit reclosing even after the circuit is reclosed at a high speed after an accident of a transmission line of a power system is removed. CONSTITUTION:The current limiter comprises a current limiting unit 17 having a superconducting element, and a current limiting unit 18 having a superconducting element and connected in parallel with the unit 17 through a switch to be closed at the time of reclosing. |
