PURPOSE:To eliminate malfunction with a primary side power supply cut off by letting a lighting system consist of control logic sections, and of excess current control sections including rush current absorbing resistors, and closing the control logic section corresponding to the resistor when the temperature detected by each temperature sensor mounted on a place close to the resistors, is in excess of a set value. CONSTITUTION:A lighting system is made up of halogen lamps 7, 71 and 72, a power supply section 1 supplying power to the aforesaid lamps, control logic sections 2, 21 and 22 opening/closing the power supply section 1 in response to directions from a console, and of excess current control sections 3, 31 and 32. The control sections 3, 31 and 32 are provided with timer relays 4, 41 and 42 which average the time distribution of rush current to the lamps 7, 71 and 72, rush current absorbing resistors 5, 51 and 52, and with temperature sensors 6, 61 and 62 which are stuck on the resistors respectively. In this constitution, the respective temperature of the resistors 5, 51 and 52 are detected by the sensors 6, 61 and 62, and when the temperature detected is in excess of a set value, the logic sections 2, 21 and 22 are cut off. Thus, let the system cope with the non-operations of rush current decreasing circuits. |
