摘要 PURPOSE:To accelerate hydrogen storage at the time of charging and provide an electrode, having an excellent gas absorption characteristic by making hexagonal alloy, represented as a MoM3 type (M=Co or Ni or its mixture), to hydrogen storage alloy powder having an AB2 type Laves phase. CONSTITUTION:For example, ZrMn0.3Cr0.3V0.15Ni1.25, one of C15 type Laves phase alloy, is used for hydrogen storage alloy, and MoCo3 is used as MoM3. Hydrogen storage alloy powder, including second phase alloy of 5wt.%, is manufactured by mechanical granulating method to be formed as an electrode. This electrode is made a negative electrode, and a well known nickel oxide electrode is used as a positive electrode to compose a battery for evaluation.
