<p>PURPOSE:To obtain a display incorporating type tablet which can detect a position only by means of an upper electrode in a matrix panel without using a lower electrode in the matrix panel, whose position detection is difficult, and in which power consumption is less. CONSTITUTION:This tablet is provided with a matrix panel 1 having an upper electrode 15 and a lower electrode 16, an upper electrode driver 2, a lower electrode driver 3, an upper electrode position detection part 8, a lower electrode detection part 9 provided with a memory accumulating a detection voltage level corresponding to dot positions at plural and specified places on the panel and xy-coordinate values, and a position detection conductor 5. The display incorporating type table time-divisionally executes display and position detection. A scan pulse is supplied only to the upper electrode 15 at the position detection mode of the display incorporating type tablet with such constitution so as to execute position detection and the lower electrode 16 is not used. Thus, the scan pulses are not required to simultaneously be supplied to plural electrodes, and power consumption can be suppressed low.</p> |
