PURPOSE:To eliminate a deviation of an output picture due to a deviation of mount in the subscanning direction between image sensors. CONSTITUTION:First and second image sensors such as image sensors 1-4 in which lots of photo sensors are formed in an array, are arranged in a main scanning direction, and an original is read by scanning relatively the original in the subscanning direction. The circuit is provided with a scanning start signal output means such as a main scanning start signal generating section 5 outputting a main scanning start signal starting the main scanning of the image sensor to each image sensor and 1st and 2nd delay means such as delay circuits 6a-6d interposed between the scanning start signal output means and the 1st and 2nd image sensors and delaying the main scanning start signal to the 1st and 2nd image sensors. The delay of the 2nd delay means is set by a time delay of the 2nd image sensor in the subscanning direction with respect to the 1st image sensor by means of a delay quantity setting section 63 or the like. |
