Process for powerful deodorisation of fluids laden with oxidisable matter. It is characterised in that: - the treatment tank is filled, - a quantity of liquid (2) is taken from the tank, - the liquid is injected into a chamber (5) of very small volume, into which chamber the treatment gas is introduced continuously in parallel with this injection in order to give rise to an emulsion, - after the liquid has passed through the chamber it is reintroduced into the treatment tank (4, 4a), - the release of treatment gas is supervised in parallel with the abovementioned operations, and - as soon as this release appears, according to specific criteria, the treatment is stopped. <IMAGE>
