The invention relates to a device making it possible to allow the quantity of spaghetti which is in front of the opening to slide. The openings of boxes conventionally never delimit quantity, which results in wastage or insufficiency. It consists of a box (1) having an orifice (2) whose end is closed by four tongues (3), (4), (5), (6). By pulling part (11), part (9) of the adhesive detaches from the top of the box (1). Part (10) of the adhesive being firmly stuck to the tongue (5), the latter splits it by means of the pre-cut (8) allowing a portion of the tongue (6) to appear and, as the latter is no longer supported because of the cut (7), it opens, as does the tongue (4), the other part on the tongue (3) side remaining glued. The device according to the invention is particularly intended for cardboard boxes containing spaghetti. <IMAGE>
