PURPOSE:To automatically form the intonation pattern of a compound word and to reduce its working volume. CONSTITUTION:An extraction part 21 extracts a compound word from monitoring information outputted from a monitor and control processing part 11. The reading of the compound word is read out by a compound word reading input part 22 and then independent words are divided by an independent word dividing part 23. Intonation to be required at the time of connecting the divided independent words as the compound word is obtained. A compound word intonation pattern forming part 26 form an intonation pattern. The pattern is applied to a term memory 15 or a voice synthesis part 17. |
