发明名称 MOVING IMAGE DATA STORAGE SYSTEM
摘要 <p>PURPOSE:To enable compression without degrading picture quality by detecting identity of pixel data of a pixel to pixel data of pixels at the same position of the next frame and the frame following the next frame for each pixel as a unit. CONSTITUTION:Image data of one frame portion of a moving image held in a graphic VRAM 1 are copied to a frame buffer 4 by a fetch circuit 2, and the next frame data are read. Next, a pixel data judging circuit 3 judges whether the pixel data of a pixel in the frame buffer are coincident with the pixel data of a pixel at the same position in the next frame data or not and when they are coincident with each other, the number of times for continuing the same pixel data is stored and compressed. When they are not coincident, those data are kept as they are and the pixel data are written in a pointer. By successively executing the above-mentioned processing concerning all the pixels in the frame buffer 4, the quantity of information is decreased and only the desired component can be compressed without damaging picture quality.</p>
