PURPOSE:To improve the operating efficiency by reducing the hardware of a multiplexer section and a demultiplexer section in common to each channel in the subcarrier multiplex optical transmitter. CONSTITUTION:A base band conversion section 100, its inverse conversion section 107, MODEM sections 101,106 and synthesizer system frequency conversion sections 102-105 are provided in each of I/O cards 11-1n, 21-2n. A synthesizer is freely controlled by using external channel setting signals E1-En, F1-Fn in each I/O card to control a channel frequency. |
